Finally managed to get a scan of this (I no longer own the original) so I figured I’d upload it here.
Coloured pencils on paper.
As the comment says, I finally got a proper scan of this, rather than just a cell phone picture. :P Looks much nicer this way

Terrible quality photo, didn’t manage to get a scan before I gave it away as a gift.
Coloured pencils on toned paper.
Finished up the skull picture I did for my mom. Pretty happy with how it came out.

Work in Progress I started last month. Acrylic and Coloured pencils on a 28 x 36 in piece of wood. Done as an illustration to represent David Fincher’s movies.
I made a blog just for my art, if anyone is interested. Something that I can link to that’s slightly more professional.
dorky thing for my digital tools class.
rendered the space myself in photoshop from scratch. assignment required that I pull it into illustrator, hence the very graphic looking tardis.
Assignment was to make a mock travel illustration for a magazine like Life or something. I showed up with this instead, and I guess he decided it was snarky enough to let me do it. I would have much preferred to do the tardis in Photoshop rather than Illustrator, as I hate Illustrator, but beggers can’t be choosers I suppose. At least he let me render the space in photoshop.
Just because I haven’t uploaded anything in ages; just a quick thing I did for my digital class. Photoshop and Illustrator. An illustration of the phrase “out of the blue.”
just a silly thing, but I like how it turned out anyways.

okay, close enough, I’m done now. :P still things I’m not happy with? I don’t want to overwork it and make it worse though. but whatever, this was originally meant to be just painting practice, not a legitimate piece anyways; overall I’m happy with it. Crits are still much appreciated, even though I consider this to be a completed piece.
technically the first part of the 30 day challenge even though this took a week because of work rofl. I still plan on completely the 30 day challenge whether it takes another 30 days or 90. :P So, I’m going to consider this as Day 1: Yourself or Your Persona? I think I’m finally figuring out how to digitally paint, though, it’s still a lot of rolling around and hoping things will work.
fixed the cheek a bit. not totally perfect, but it works.

Edit: fixed the cheek
getting really close to completing this now- couldnt sleep, and since I have work at 4:30, I just gave up at 2 and decided to read and work on this a bit instead.
obviously, the world’s most boring background award is going to go to me now, but whatever, I kind of like it?? if someone has some aweosme idea though, let me know (i’ll probably change it anyways). I still need to tough a few things up, not completely done with the shirt/lighting on shirt, etc, but I’m almost there. thanks for all the tips people have given me for this, I appreciate it. :o I still mostly consider this a painting exercise? because let’s be honest, it’s boring as all hell, but I’m still mostly happy with how it’s been turning out.
also, I have 63 followers now?? so thank you guys for that. I know I’m really boring and sporadic when I do post, but I really appreciate the support.
i’m not totally done, but getting there. oAo it’s a lot less photorealistic than I originally intended it to be, but I like it okay, so whatever.
haven’t been working on much art in the last week or so, been too tired with work. finishing up the shirt and the shadows on the neck, then I gotta figure out what I want to do with the background.
any tips or critiques so far?
working on that last piece a bit more. was gonna go for a more photoreal look, but I’m kinda liking the painterly style still. dunno. I really have no clue how to digitally paint lol, I just roll around until something looks okay.
any tips or critiques so far? still a lot i need to go back and finish but it’s looking better now lol
