Terrible quality photo, didn’t manage to get a scan before I gave it away as a gift.
Coloured pencils on toned paper.
Finished up the skull picture I did for my mom. Pretty happy with how it came out.

I got some new colored pencils for Christmas, so I’m using them to draw a skull for my mom’s birthday (she likes skulls a lot.) Still got a ways to go, but I’m happy with the outcome thus far. Any ideas on how I should do the background? I was thinking about making it solid black, or a really dark navy blue.

I HAVE TO GO SEE THIS
(via burntttoastt)
Work in Progress I started last month. Acrylic and Coloured pencils on a 28 x 36 in piece of wood. Done as an illustration to represent David Fincher’s movies.
I made a blog just for my art, if anyone is interested. Something that I can link to that’s slightly more professional.
dorky thing for my digital tools class.
rendered the space myself in photoshop from scratch. assignment required that I pull it into illustrator, hence the very graphic looking tardis.
Assignment was to make a mock travel illustration for a magazine like Life or something. I showed up with this instead, and I guess he decided it was snarky enough to let me do it. I would have much preferred to do the tardis in Photoshop rather than Illustrator, as I hate Illustrator, but beggers can’t be choosers I suppose. At least he let me render the space in photoshop.
Just because I haven’t uploaded anything in ages; just a quick thing I did for my digital class. Photoshop and Illustrator. An illustration of the phrase “out of the blue.”
just a silly thing, but I like how it turned out anyways.
okay, close enough, I’m done now. :P still things I’m not happy with? I don’t want to overwork it and make it worse though. but whatever, this was originally meant to be just painting practice, not a legitimate piece anyways; overall I’m happy with it. Crits are still much appreciated, even though I consider this to be a completed piece.
technically the first part of the 30 day challenge even though this took a week because of work rofl. I still plan on completely the 30 day challenge whether it takes another 30 days or 90. :P So, I’m going to consider this as Day 1: Yourself or Your Persona? I think I’m finally figuring out how to digitally paint, though, it’s still a lot of rolling around and hoping things will work.
fixed the cheek a bit. not totally perfect, but it works.
